Many gun owners are against stricter gun background checks. I can understand why, because stricter background checks would reveal that many of them are completely mentally unfit to own firearms. Guam's Attorney-General is anti-choice and has repeatedly tried to reinstate the island's abortion ban, which has an injunction against it. He asked for a rehearing at the Supreme Court, but many doctors and healthcare groups have formally opposed this, and now the Governor has too.
