There is no way to change the email address associated with a ChatGPT/OpenAI account. Your only option is to create a new account with the other email and delete the existing account.

What a joke.

Truly struggle to understand how GeForce Now runs smoother and more consistently while streaming games hundreds of miles away compared to the PC in my basement, on the same local network.

I've tried ControlD no less than 5 times over the last two years, but always end up back with NextDNS. ControlD just makes resolution on my devices feel… slower

This is a super cool open source, self-hosted OpenID Connect project. I really love the passkey-only approach pocket-id.org

Discovered UniFi's Private Pre-Shared Keys and used them to cut four IoT SSIDs down to one. Same network name, different passwords = different VLANs. empty.coffee/unifi-ppsk-guide...
UniFi PPSK Guide: Consolidate Multiple SSIDs with Private Pre-Shared Keys
Tired of broadcasting multiple WiFi networks for IoT devices? I used UniFi’s Private Pre-Shared Keys (PPSKs) to consolidate four SSIDs down to two - one password per VLAN, same network name. Perfect for managing trusted Matter devices alongside untrusted IoT gadgets without the clutter.

I'm on a kick, trying a few different strength training apps. I've been on the hunt for something that works well on an Apple Watch, builds workouts dynamically based on load history, has a good interface for exploring trends over time, and captures heart rate. Bonus points for syncing with Strava.

i'm pretty exited to hear that two of my favorite running platforms, Runna and Strava, are coming together under one roof. Runna is an incredibly thoughtful run coaching tool, and a natural extension of the Strava ecosystem https://www.runna.com/blog/letter-from-the-founders

I'm torn between an Apple Watch and a Garmin as my daily driver. I seem to switch between the two every year, for some reason. I'm leaning towards the Apple Watch for 2025. Will my watch selection impact how much time I spend outdoors?

I've really enjoyed the Rivian's adaptive high beams, but found it difficult to explain without seeing it firsthand. This Reddit post is a great example of how the high beams work, using fog to clearly show what they're doing. Such an awesome feature!

Verizon now offers a second line for $10 a month. For an eSIM on a major carrier, this is the lowest rate I've found. Perfect for keeping your personal and work numbers separate without needing a second phone!

While repairing the damaged drywall after removing a mounted soundbar, I'm reminded of an important life lesson:

Making a hole sure is easy, but fixing them can be a real pain

A month into running the UNAS Pro, and I'm darn happy. The price is right for a 7-bay 2U NAS, and paired with an Intel NUC or similar, it runs laps around equivalent Synology setups. It leaves a bit to be desired on the feature side, but performance and reliability have been great so far.

Setup a Bluesky PDS running on a Proxmox LXC in my basement. Compared to my experience standing up a personal Mastodon instance, it was incredibly easy, uses barely any resources, and doesn’t fragment the experience at all. Pretty darn cool!

I would love to understand why the Rivian de-rates while charging so early and so aggressively. It's 30 degrees out, so I can't imagine it's the ambient temp causing it. It has to be the most frustrating part of road trips with this vehicle.
