To the world:
We are fighting back. Our movement has been silenced by the media here—but we are not backing down. This is what our streets looked like across multiple cities. Tomorrow, there will be more of us! Raise a glass to freedom.

I want to thank the 34,000 Vermonters who joined Sen. Welch, Rep. Balint and me in our delegation town hall by phone & online.

An extraordinary turnout for a state of 650,000 people. Needless to say, the people of VT are deeply concerned about what’s going on in DC right now.

Legislation that I passed and was funded by Congress, Solar for All, could reduce electric bills for working class families by 80%.

The Trump Admin is refusing to release the money in order to protect the profits of fossil fuel billionaires. Unacceptable. Release the funds NOW.

Dissatisfaction with how Republicans are running the government doesn't mean Democrats are winning. It doesn't mean the Democratic Party isn't also bleeding support. Democrats are almost exclusively addressing new issues created by Republicans, not the ones that got us here.

Even if we manage to hold democracy and the country together for another 3.5 years—which is not guaranteed—that alone is not enough for Democrats to win. We just learned that.

The exponential rise in microplastic pollution over the past 50 years may be reflected in increasing contamination in human brains, according to a new study.

The new research analyzed samples of brain, liver and kidney tissues from 28 people who died in 2016 and 24 who died in 2024 in New Mexico.

Like most tech-bro schemes, DOGE is just a rip-off of something older and better: The US Government Accountability Office.

But while DOGE is a front for a posting-obsessed billionaire to do heart surgery with a chainsaw, the GAO is a 100+-year-old agency that actually does what DOGE pretends to do.

It seems that thanks to public pressure, the Trump Admin just backpedaled.

This was a mess that shouldn't have happened in the first place. I’m still hearing how hard this has been on Minnesota vets and their families. And a lot is still unclear.

This chaos was totally avoidable.
I just got a report that the Minneapolis VA has stopped hiring workers thanks to a hasty Trump Executive Order.

They’ve rescinded offers to dozens of people who were going to fill critical roles to care for vets.

In the new Trump presidency, we have got to remain focused. We can’t panic.

No matter how many executive orders he signs or statements he issues, our goal is the same:

We must fight to create an America based on economic, social & environmental justice.
