Dissatisfaction with how Republicans are running the government doesn't mean Democrats are winning. It doesn't mean the Democratic Party isn't also bleeding support. Democrats are almost exclusively addressing new issues created by Republicans, not the ones that got us here.

Even if we manage to hold democracy and the country together for another 3.5 years—which is not guaranteed—that alone is not enough for Democrats to win. We just learned that.

I just got a report that the Minneapolis VA has stopped hiring workers thanks to a hasty Trump Executive Order.
