Unexpected prep for teaching a one-off course on dragons: dragon puppet (Norbert & Tairn if those names mean anything to you)

Apparently these cardboard puppets are the 'hot thing' for elementary schoolers--fun to make, too!

Cat update: his nerve damage has healed almost fully. No longer syringe-feeding him. He is alive and stable. 🥰

Today's episode of defending classroom space: the divider has been opened and only closes with a special key. Someone will come close it in a bit which will... drumroll... disrupt class! Or I will share second period with a cluster of young learners and an instructor who are not my problem. Woohoo.

Was proud of myself for how quickly I threw together a Canva image and sent it to my department and all relevant students (five minutes tops). Spotted the typo immediately after sharing. Telling myself it isn't worth a follow-up email...
