I vote for a cast iron pot or a dutch oven with a metal lid, not a glass one. Just in case.

I am glad that you found the cat and that the moldy vents is gone.

I should be fine for 2-3 years and then hopefully I can find another shoemaker to replace the sole. But yeah. sigh.

Yeah. My current winter boots cost 220 euro. I bought them 3 because the sole is replacable. I replaced the sole this spring, and then....they closed their shoe repair program due to outsourcing the manufacturing. sigh.

My dad oven bakes on low temp for an hour-ish and then sear it in a cast grill pan.

Then they should have said so. I would have also clicked just one chicken or panda. Or wondered were the "No matching image found" button was.
