go read anything about how Jim Wallis or Tony Campolo (not heroes, just examples) were treated the moment they started to stray from company line on abortion/LGBTQ+ matters. Let alone not white men. Seriously, just read about how Call to Renewal or the Evangelical Immigration Table fractured.
