I disagree with the whole premise.
We have NOT written young men (let’s face it: white) off. Our policies would benefit them as much as anyone.
What we HAVE done is told them others have the same rights and needs - women, BIPOC, LGBTQ, and that they are not the be all and end all. And we’re right.
