Venezuelan oil is quite thick and sour making it hard and costly to refine. So I don't think the oil is a very good argument for Trump doing this. I can think of other arguments though.

No it's not dangerous. Actually I think Rutte is one of our most effective assets. Using this approach (which must feel extremely demeaning) he effectively turned Trump away from abandoning Ukraine on several occasions, not to mention from abandoning NATO. Failing to see that is dumb/ungrateful.
