Also I had a cup of coffee today for the first time in a week and I felt like I had a reason to live again.

I also don’t want to spend any money, so it’s easy to stay home and read.

Not me still awake , worrying(?) about sleeping through an alarm and missing this altogether.

People got very mad at me, and it was really interesting. I didn’t even say that they shouldn’t listen to audiobooks, just that it’s different.

Man I just want classes smaller than 36, and copies of books that aren’t falling apart.

This team, man. He was absolutely lights out and they just failed him

I mean, I have people I talk to over there and it’s fine.

I mean, that extra $100 I don’t have to pay out will be good when I make zero dollars this month.

But so much of what we want has nothing to do with salary. They just won’t talk about it.

Anyway. I am very sad that I’m not at work. I love my job and I miss my kids and I feel bad for the grade 12s.

I am not confident that this government will actually do what’s right for kids, and am anticipating a bunch of extra work to help these kids get through.

I’ve been teaching for 20 years, and things have gotten way harder. I’ve adapted, but it’s not easy.

We just want kids to be safe and cared for, and to be able to learn with as few obstacles as possible.

We can’t do that with crowded classrooms and no resources and no supports.
