Right? I think about this a LOT. How could it not have changed popular culture and mainstream mores? Would we have gotten New Hollywood earlier? later? at all? Would an extended pansy craze have washed out the lavender scare before it got started?

Me too! Though it was to thumb my particular nose at Verizon, not Spectrum. I do fully support thumbing noses at Spectrum, however. I was delighted to ditch them when we finally had a viable alternative (fidium)
