at UChicago, no, and i did not. tried econ 101 and dropped it after 4 days. have still never completed an econ course. have tallied 17 consecutive up years managing a hedge fund (although lack of macro econ knowledge did drag me a bit in 2020, but now i have a guy i trust on that stuff)
