I’ve always thought of the stock market as the drama queen of the economy - over-emoting both positively and negatively.

Ugh! As a Ward 7 resident, I’m so disappointed with the outcome of our Council race. We’re losing the talented Katie Cashman for this….

That’s the beauty of the book club! I’ve read so many things that I wouldn’t have chosen on my own - some great, some not, but always interesting!

Hard agree, Christy. We can cancel the orders for sackcloth & ashes - we’ll just need to hang our heads in shame for awhile when we say we live here.

Downsized to the Isles area of 7 a few years ago. Friendly, walkable neighborhood - but so many folks here think being in the Peace Corps 45 years ago gave them a lifetime liberal card to play no matter how they actually vote.

So much more kindness & class than we see in Washington these days!

Here in Ward 7, All of Minneapolis has sent flyers saying that Katie Cashman has voted in “lockstep” with the socialists on the council. Would that be her vote for the police contract or the one against rent control?

I’ve already shared it with one friend who’s on FB but not here. Am planning to share with others. I was already going to do the same ranking - and I appreciate your added info.

I’d love to see him go head to head with either of them! We could see how those IQs shake out….

CTUL is terrific. And so true about the Frey/Shaffer voters. So many folks repeat Frey’s accusations about the city council. I remind them that we have a strong mayor system now - so the accountability buck stops with Frey, not the council. They’re almost always surprised,,,,

I vote for the vaccine one.
