I think it's worth noting that Google itself is only partly responsible for ruining Google search, we have to put some blame on the SEO industry also.

Rogue One is an extremely flawed movie and it is also the 4th best Star Wars movie and the people behind the prequel and sequel trilogies should feel embarrassed about that.

To be fair, human-level intelligence is quite demonstrably no guarantee of being good at driving a car under widely varied conditions.

How broadly are we labeling AI for this? Some of Adobe’s machine learning tools are definitely good, health care loves them some AI transcripts… as far as the most hyped LLM stuff goes, the gains are… marginal benefit for parts of the jobs of some coders? Anything else?

On one hand, yes. On the other hand I would absolutely consider it work to go to a luncheon event full of these people.

That seems like a great way for them to prolong the relevance of the story indefinitely so it fits with everything they have done so far.
