#WritingCommunity,

I need a word that describes cringing because you’re anticipating a cringey moment. Real or made-up. Any ideas?

Why can’t we be kind? (A Pollyanna’s case for the nice review.)
Every so often here in the Bookverse, someone hitches up their britches and pronounces criticism “dead.” They lament a media ecosystem driven by publicists, and actual or perceived read…

It has been a long while since I've read a book I disliked as much as the one I just finished, and it's a good reminder that not every book is for everyone. And that's okay! Read what you like and write what you need to--someone out there might hate it, but others will love it.
