The Bandit whut hangs out in trees. MTB is fine.

20 year Maineiac From Away.

N.B.: I do not automatically follow back.
No he didn't, you idiot. He held them off for 40 days and then they simply did it anyway over his objections.

One of them is not a Democrat, you know.
November 11, 2025 at 6:10 PM
Clarifying this because it looks sloppy and confusing: No one in Georgetown really beleived that he was NOT living in Georgetown while he was saying he had a house in ME02.

Whenever one presses them on this fact, the response is "oh, but it won't actually BE Medicare."
November 11, 2025 at 5:49 PM
And if I remember right, he voted for the CR in the first place.

Pedant point: 7 Ds and one I. King caucuses with the Dems but he is independent.
November 11, 2025 at 4:43 PM
King is not a Democrat.
November 11, 2025 at 4:41 PM
Ah, well, Toledo. That says it all.
November 11, 2025 at 4:38 PM
Not even close to "kinda."

Stick to SanFran. Maine doesn't elect Berners.
November 11, 2025 at 4:30 PM
I wonder what house he's pretending to live in now. Maybe it's Poliquin's pretend house in . . . madison? (Former coworker in Georgetown said he was living there even while pretending he had a place in 02. No one in Georgetown believed he wasn't.)
November 11, 2025 at 4:28 PM
You are not even on the rights coast. Stay out of Maine politics. Platner is going to self-own his campaign to death. He's just parroting what his DSA handlers tell him to say. He's just another angry white dude.

His new campaign manager is a two time loser for mayor. What a brilliant choice.
November 11, 2025 at 4:25 PM
You are so fucking clueless that you just need to be blocked.
November 11, 2025 at 4:22 PM
Yes, PLEASE stop running as Democrats.

But since their goal is to destroy the Democrats from within, they won't.
November 11, 2025 at 4:21 PM
I think the 2022 vote may have shown that.

I wish he'd stop breaking his promise to abandon Maine and just move to Florida.
November 11, 2025 at 4:17 PM
Hmm.

What is your assessment of Dunlap's chances?

What do you think of reports that "national Democrats" (whoever that is) are looking for a candidate, as if Dunlap's not already on the race?
November 11, 2025 at 3:53 PM
They will, because they have more integrity in their collective little finger than all the US media combined.
November 11, 2025 at 3:06 PM
If I recall correctly, Bernie succeeded at losing in 2020.
November 11, 2025 at 2:56 PM
I have my own slogan about class war:
Class wars lose elections.
November 11, 2025 at 12:43 PM
A few years ago a Virginia legislative race was literally won by a coin flip because both candidates had the same number of votes after a recount.

So you're ok with starving children. Let me guess: You've never had to worry about feeding yourself or your family. It shoes.

This is not ending ACA. This is ending temporary benefits from 2021.

You really think Democrats are going to stop demanding votes on extending those temporary benefits?
November 11, 2025 at 2:14 AM
Which is the greater betrayal? Choosing to continue starving 40 million people, or choosing not to extend an additional subsidy that was only intended to be a temporary increse in the first place?
I side with the 40 million.

My brother's memorial party was yesterday, in Virgina. He didn't want a funeral, he wanted a party. A grand time was had by all, saw some long lost cousins, and a lot of friends who missed him.
I'm good. On my way back to Maine now.
