After crunching the final parts of my cosplay, I finally finished #Kingsley from the Meadowlark series for a Halloween convention. I'm absolutely over the moon that I won an MC award at Anime Oklahoma!

Spread the word: There IS something we can do about this. The two emails attached are places you can contact Nintendo directly about copyright violations. I suggest things like, "I won't purchase more Nintendo products if..." and "is Pokémon a brand that is to be associated with violence?"

Something a lot of people don't know about me is I grew up in a rural area. And didn't have access to anime via DVD, VHS, or streaming services. I found a list I made in highschool of anime I one day wanted to see. I haven't watched them all but I do wish I could tell young Birdie where we'd end up.

I hate when I find a retro shoujo, go, "oh, that looks right up my alley!" and then find out it's mostly lost media. #MonCheriCoCo is a shoujo series that aired in 1972 on Sunday nights for children. With #YoshiyukiTomino having done some of the storyboarding.
