Truuuuuue. I don't want a 9000GB open world game with no focus, no objectives and fields for days. Give me a tailored experience any day 😁

SEGA is correct. It's really not rocket science. People want a fully functioning product. Those who prefer physical media even more so. Offer the product people want. Be transparent in your communication. Everybody who doesn't do this rightfully loses sales.

If Pokémon was really cool like that, they'd set up IRL battle facilities where you could upload your teams and fight in a AR room with holograms of your Pokémon simulating a battle arena, have the room react to the moves of your Pokémon such as sprinklers with hydro pump or intense heat with fire.

Can SEGA just hand off a Jet Set Radio Future remake to Team Reptile? I don't trust SEGA with the IP and Team Reptile is consistently making bangers 🥹

Coming from the company actively going out of their way not to preserve their titles this is unsurprising, there exists no version of Street Fighter V with all characters on disc, and every Resi game rerelease has the DLC on voucher code. No Capcom Collections releasing physically in Europe etc etc.

"Physical Edition"? Really, Square Enix? We know the game is too large for a regular card, but at least don't call the glorified download code "physical". There is nothing physical about an online dependency.

Started a petition on Change to petition SEGA/Atlus to change the game key card release of Persona 3 Reload on Switch 2 to a proper physical release. It may not get anywhere knowing the scale of these companies but I can't just sit by and do nothing.

Please let them know that we don't want game key cards. This is the best way to provide feedback.
Nintendo released a survey asking for feedback on physical and digital games.

This is definitely the chance to make your voice heard about Switch 2 Game Key Cards.

Refuse getting a Switch 2 until the game key card situation comes to an end. Nintendo gave publishers a lazy, easy way out at the expense of consumers, conveniencing absolutely no one and putting out a cartridge with about as much value as car with no wheels.

I absolutely loved yesterday's Persona 3 Reload Switch 2 reveal, until I didn't.

Roughly 85% of Third Party Switch 2 games that hit retail are either Game-Key Cartridges or a Code in a Box and this doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon.

youtube.com/watch?v=nhkd... really important video Persona 3 Reload deserves better than this, Sega/Atlus really dropped the ball on this release.

I genuinely hope no one buys this version, Persona 3 Reload is a masterpiece and deserved better treatment with physical. The current versions are cheaper and since there's no DLC included may as well go ahead, Game Key Cards are a blight on the industry.

Petition: Prohibit publishers irrevocably disabling video games they have already sold
The government should update consumer law to prohibit publishers from disabling video games (and related game assets / features) they have already sold without recourse for customers to retain or repair them. We seek this as a statutory consumer right.

Absodamnlutely not, fuck these. This is just another way publishers can be even lazier now with another method of screwing consumers. Especially disappointed with the Street Fighter 6 release..why Capcom....(Post not aimed at Nintendo life, they're great! 😁)
