Yeah, that's what happened here. It was I who raged after hearing "weird timing" on a self-aggrandizing post about how they're so aware, b/c they didn't think anything of Somali thieves hating their shitty employer. AND THEN reframed it as a crusade against tokenism when that wasn't on the table

So fuckin weird bud. Somali Americans are going through it, but we gotta stop the presses to soothe an easily bruised ego. God forbid anyone correct the most privileged intersection in all the US, lest he rage out. Only cookies and tummy rubs for our special guy.

I hate how this dystopia begs countless reminders of "hey, we're human too" from people who've already dealt with so much suffering.
