I have never been more uncomfortable watching anything, than watching this bit of this episode. I was *yelling* to try and drown it out.
Had my first brush with AI giving me the wrong code. Was trying to get something working with a plugin on my wife’s upcoming shop site and copy and pasted the code suggestion from Google search results.
Spent two hours trying to figure out why it was breaking all her product links.

I kinda miss going to Toronto for work when I was with SC, and more specifically getting into the office before everyone else. I’d always stay a fairly short walk to the office, and I loved the ritual of the alarm, turning on all the lights, and just being in the office with (little to) no one there

Feel like I have to start with saying I’m not anti Carney by any means — but what is with the liberal supporters treating Carney the same way the republicans treat Trump? I’ve seen more than a few acting like he can do no wrong and he’s the best leader ever. Not saying he isn’t doing a good job but

On Friday I got the chance to see the new How to Train Your Dragon with my childhood babysitter. Her son, who just happens to have written and directed it was in town as well.
He also co-directed the original, as well as my all time favourite Lilo and Stitch.

finally found a friend to play Split Fiction with and I have been enjoying it SO much. So many great pop culture references in it, gameplay is fun and sometimes challenging without being too punishing. Also easy to pick up and put down again for shorter gaming sessions. and just GORGEOUS.

So whenever I heard the term "male loneliness epidemic" I thought it was referring to how a lot of ?older?(30+) men have a hard time with connections and don't have a lot of guy friends they feel like they really connect with and can share stuff with, which lead to increased suicide rates.

GenAI users are honestly just wild. Make my stance very clear on AI, repeatedly. Someone gave me a gift that was clearly made using genAI. How TF do you respond to that. Esp when they lie about how it was made.

I just got my letter from Service Canada saying I got (!!!!!)100%(!!!!!) coverage for the new dental plan. We've been struggling hard since I got laid off 2 years ago and dentist was not a priority. Cannot explain how fucking excited I am to finally get my teeth looked at.

I’ve started using a cane a lot when going out because of my Achilles tendinitis, to help with stairs, and take some of the pressure off when walking but also sometimes when the paint hits, I drop.
