A Walk Down Broadway:
For an inmate, this hallway was a constant presence. They would walk this path multiple times a day: for meals in the Dining Hall, for work assignments in the Industries building, or for their one hour of yard time. It was a place of enforced order and simmering conflict.

The corridors were given nicknames of famous American streets by the guards and inmates. While "Broadway" was the central passage, other corridors included "Michigan Avenue" alongside A-Block and "Sunset Strip" in the more isolated D-Block.
