Thanks - not sure about pedestrian levels, there’s no crossing currently. We’ve noticed drivers are more likely to stop if they come to the zebra crossing first, so the double design means they always do

(The alternative is a single two-way crossing, but then cyclists going in one direction need to veer across the lane to join it)

No banned turns - so maybe you’d need a car’s length offset of the crossings?

Might be the time of day, but I’d say 4 times out of 5 I’m able to get across there without stopping. Otherwise, slowly nosing out seems to stop most drivers. It definitely works better than I feared from comments on twitter

Do you have thoughts about what the market area should look like in an LTN? I have a sense of the solution for the route of C1, but much less so here

So overtaking cyclists is basically impossible? I guess that’s consistent with the design speed of the street (as long as drivers agree)
