I proposed to my partner this past weekend using a Dungeons and Dragons theme to pop the question! Here’s a snapshot of the mimic ring box I used for the proposal. (He said yes! We also definitely fought the mimic before I let him take the rings😈)

This image I took of Caulobacter this morning reminds me of Goron Chief Darunia. I think my microbes are telling me to play another run of Ocarina of Time!

Following up with my primary care physician today. Living with numerous chronic illnesses, my brain feels like this every time I go to an appointment. Trying to be better prepared for today and write it all down beforehand, we will see how my AuDHD does with some structured chaos.

My TBR is through the roof, so what do I do?

Well of course I buy more books

I’m pretty sure I’m a book dragon hoarding books at this point. If I could just get out of this reading slump and hyper-focus on reading, I could become a book dragon that hoards stories!

The Witch Walker series by Charissa Weeks is an incomplete series but well worth the wait. There are two more books slated in the series and I’m itching to get my hands on! It follows a mute FMC and a well written enemies to lovers trope.

A.K. Mulford’s The Five Crowns of Okrith series well represents the LGBTQ+ Community and follows a different romance story in each book, while connecting them all together in the world. I think they are beautifully written and each book brought joy and unique perspectives.

Of course!!
I’m currently reading Daughter of No Worlds by Charissa Broadbent. It’s apart of a trilogy and so far it’s a bit of a slow build romance with some good world building. I hear it gets spicier as the series progresses.

How exciting for you to start a dice collection! I’m definitely a bit of a dice dragon when it comes to shiny math rocks! Here’s a snapshot of my collection from earlier this year, it’s not my whole collection I was just trying to take an interesting photo or two. I would love to see your collection

What I’ve learned as a disabled member of society is that, despite our disabilities, we are expected to function as those individuals who are not disabled. That plus navigating a system that is not disability friendly, we often have to take up roles that we cannot sustain physically or mentally.
