We need to push back on the banks choosing what we can buy orn ot. We also need to push back on social media stupidity that reads what's not written. There is nothing in the story that tells us they target by name or even that it was related to the problem at hand.

GenAI isnt just asset generation. Gemini meeting notes automation or Copilot github code review are also GenAI.

Google gemini notes taking? Github copilot code review bot?

Wouldn't it be the contrary? Slow the development in the short term, raise quality in long term? The time tools, process and culture adapt to new paradigm, it will be hard. Once it's assimilated, they can reap benefits.

It would allow to make QA specialists much more integrated and focused too.

I wonder how they aim to calculate "% of QA testing". Is this ratio on walkthrough completion? Test cases? Budget? Time spent? It's normal to want to apply automation to QA (it's already done a lot), and AI is a normal step, it will also change how we code things, use in game-error, warnings, etc.

I am more interested in finding out why npr's address is directing towards a 2026 sub-directory.

Also, I never use the "Discover" tab. I have the "Following" one that shows me exactly what I am interested in. No need for the system to feed me more, I spsent already too much time online.

I dont know, that made so many families live well for many years and it didnt take anything away from me.

Jobs at big tech trying to get into gaming (because thats who we are talking about) are way bigger than industry standard.

I can believe that. It does create instability. But it also injects insane cash that we wouldnt see otherwise.
October 28, 2025 at 8:03 PM
They did create hundreds (thousands?) of high paying jobs for many years though. Would we prefer that didnt happen at all?

I unfollow more and more people who repost themselves because it makes the experience worse for people who follow you. I dont need to see the same thing 2 or 3 times in 24 hours. It doesnt scale. If everyone does it (as ot can be automated), it is a nightmare.

- It's very scary for the new organization, because people like MAC never leaves alone. However, the franchise went through several transitions where they lost their "main guy" and it went stronger every time. (that's how MAC got there) However, it was with the old Ubisoft. Seems way harder now.

- From MAC's message, we can understand he didn't have the full trust from leadership and they wanted to put someone above him. He seems he was not fan of the idea (understandable).
