Excellent visit last week to IPAG, Grenoble, talking all things exoplanets+direct imaging; even got a sneak peak in the clean room at new VIPA spectrograph! Big thanks @mickaelbonnefoy.bsky.social & @lucieleboulleux.bsky.social for hosting me, IPAG wins prize for most impressive seminar room door!

These are the planets to scale not only in size, but also in their tilt and rotation speed. Pluto and Ceres (a couple of dwarf planets) are included whether you like them or not 🫣

Aujourd'hui, visite de ma collègue @jaynebirkby.bsky.social qui donnera un séminaire au labo. Au menu : échanges et collaboration avec les étudiants et collègues qui travaillent sur la spectroscopie haute résolution des exoplanètes. Et on parlera aussi de l'instrument HARMONI qui équipera l'ELT. 😊
