USA has burned through much of the readily available crude oil reserves in USA. Extremely important for USA energy security to 1) build to a non-sprawl urban/commercial model for small/med/lg cities/towns across USA 2) Build modern infrastructure & transit (efficient, timely, reliable, affordable)

True Govts need to create a Dept of Sustainability to create short/long term plans for thorough discussion before implementing. 1) Focusing on rebuilding and building to a non-sprawl urban/commercial model for small/med/lg cities/towns across USA. 2) Build modern infrastructure & transit + 3 more

The USA not taking a public transportation system seriously is part of the reason why the USA is falling behind other nations economically. Subways (for major cities) and high speed rail (between major cities) are important parts of any modern economy. Time for the USA to get a new vision & plans

It is almost there is an aversion for national political leaders to make viable achievable goals and plans towards more ecologically sound economies. How about we start with nations creating Dept of Sustainability to force serious goals and plans progress

Time to regroup and push for Govts to develop solid ecologically sound policies. Creating Dept of Sustainability for clear vision & plans, might help ensure policies are not watered down or and are not unrealistic..

How about encourage transition most of the military to #sustainable economic activities on Earth, #growth economies for Space Development.. #G30 nations do need to move economies away from growth/consumption/sprawl dependencies for prosperity to far more ecologically sound #sustainable economies.

Bugger that, Govt's take charge using their regulatory abilities and fiscal capacity to move economies away from growth/consumption/sprawl dependencies for prosperity to far more ecologically sound viable #sustainable economies. To ensure LT food/water/soil/nature/energy security.

Climate action that looks like: National Govts need to build a sustainable economy, stop urban/commercial sprawl, protect: farmland, natures land, waters, habitat & biodiversity, build 100% waste mgmt systems, modern efficient transit, move to Regenerative Ag, update the financial economic system
November 11, 2025 at 2:39 AM
Hopefully any updates will benefit Brazilians after the COP30, but sure seems like a billionaire & eco elites event. Many Govts made & make the mistake of pushing idealistic tunnel vision "climate" policies without scoping out all that is involved in moving to #sustainable. Viable plans r MIA..

Also for consideration, each continental economic community of nations should be mostly self sufficient, good for ecological sustainability. Also imagine if one centralized location of industrial production got hit by an asteroid; a problem for the ROW

Many Govts made & make the mistake of pushing idealistic tunnel vision "climate" policies without scoping out all that is involved in moving to #sustainable. Viable realistic achievable comprehensive plans are needed. Nations should create Dept of Sustainability to develop viable goals/plans

Each nation should create a Dept of Sustainability to develop solid goals/plans to move towards more ecologically sound economies. We consumers need to get more selective on our consumption too ie natural fibres linen, cotton, hemp, wool, and our volume of stuff, buy local too (baker/butcher)
October 31, 2025 at 3:09 PM
A more rational #sustainable economic path would be for each continental economic community of nations to have industrial & agricultural capacity for mostly self sufficiency. This is actually good jic if one region experiences adverse events, so other regions can provide support
October 24, 2025 at 5:02 PM
True, nature needs our help to protect & restore it. It would be good if all national Govts had a Dept of Sustainability, to create plans to move to #sustainable goals, help implementation, report on progress or lack of, action plan for ongoing plans.

National Govts should have a Department of Sustainability to work towards specific goals, provide action plans, reporting on progress or lack thereof..

Just as China and Russia have their own version of Socialism, time for USA to have a USA version?
Build a more equitable economy, reduce the wealth/income divide, move to a more ecologically sound viable economy, and ensure USA works for genuine peace initiatives internationally.

How to actually reduce O&G use/dependencies, National Govts need to build a sustainable economy, stop urban/commercial sprawl, protect: farmland, natures land, waters, habitat & biodiversity, build 100% waste mgmt systems, modern efficient transit, Regenerative Ag, modernize financial system

National Govts need plans to build a sustainable economy, stop urban/commercial sprawl, protect: farmland, natures land, waters, habitat & biodiversity, build 100% waste mgmt systems, modern efficient transit, Regenerative Ag, modernize the financial system to support the move

True, fast fashion, along with artificial fibres, is a problem for nations waste management systems as well as pollution. Time to return to cotton, wool, and linen; more biodegradable & #sustainable!!
