Congrats to @mici.hu & Jo Van Bulck on winning the Distinguished Paper Award at EuroS&P. "openIPE: An Extensible Memory Isolation Framework for Microcontrollers" tackles a major gap in embedded systems security: the lack of standards-based, extensible memory isolation for low-end microcontrollers.

Check out openIPE (EuroS&P '25), a platform for security research featuring a memory isolation primitive based on Texas Instruments microcontrollers, an extensible trusted software layer, and tooling for security validation.
