Yeah, I floss every day in the morning. My hygienist was lecturing me saying it’s best to floss at night. I said maybe it’s best to plan to floss at a time I will actually do it. She laughed, said I had a point and everything looked fine.

Is this a blunt instrument? Yes. Do I think it is better than nothing? Also yes. I would love nothing more than for leaders to get their acts together so I can spend my weekends needlepointing, but the leaders aren’t doing that so I have to do what I can instead of giving up

I agree that Dem leadership should be focused on effective messaging. As a non leader normie, I don’t get a say into what decisions the leadership does so I go to and persuade others to show up to demonstrations to make it clear to Dem leadership that what they are doing is not sustainable

I read this many years ago and it has stuck with me since. Heartbreaking and rage inducing to think that someone would choose to put their kid through this

I think the unfeeling ones are the parents who are saying that the disease that killed their kid “isn’t as bad as they are making it out to be.”
