Too late now, but wouldn't it be great if, tomorrow, in every major city, we had a flash mob of choral/orchestras start the protest/March with the national anthem? Damn, why didn't we think of this sooner. Was DC , NYC, Chicago, LA, Detroit, Denver ...he'll, why not Paris, London, Tehran?

Government shutdowns are not normal. No other developed country shuts down its government because it can’t agree on a budget. The previous year’s budget is just automatically extended until a new one is passed. If that doesn’t work, an election is called.
