This one took a while, but it's finally out! Our re-description of the most common & iconic teleosauroid 🐊 Macrospondylus bollensis, along with it's enigmatic holotype.

Supermassive new paper (162 pages!) led by Dr Isaure Scavezzoni on the pectoral girdle anatomy of thalattosuchian and dyrosaurid crocodylomorphs, highlighting the enormous amount of information in croc postcranial skeletons!

Made it to the other side - hi Bluesky, I'm a paleontologist working on ecology, growth and morphology (among other things) of Jurassic fossil marine crocs and their living "relatives"! Why not celebrate with photos of some of the awesome animals I work on?
