Gave a talk last night at @swissgamehub.bsky.social about how I used Wwise to build a professional audio pipeline for Inventorix.

I wasn’t sure how a room full of non-audio people would react, but they leaned in, asked great questions, and made it a really special evening.

Designed a short riser SFX for the new OmniGain item in INVENTORIX.

To avoid repetition fatigue, I used:
🎛️ 2 subtle variations in a Wwise Random Container
🎚️ Slight pitch randomization

Sounds nearly identical each time, but never exactly the same.

Designed a pair of quick SFX for INVENTORIX’s probability items 🎲

✅ Success: a crisp, satisfying ding
❌ Fail: short, dry “access denied” vibe

Tiny sounds, but they convey all the storytelling in under half a second.

Short, punchy, and immediately readable. One announces the threat, the other clears the space.

Just finished and implemented the INVENTORIX boss track! 💥

This one leans heavily on horizontal resequencing in Wwise, unlike other tracks in the game, which rely more on vertical remixing.
