It has a good shot. No El Assico that weekend. Wisconsin seems down(Alabama). Texas A&M-Notre Dame looks to be the toughest competition for the event.

Exactly, great games are great games. Great coaches are great coaches. Great players are great players. If a rivalry game is great and the result is the difference between one team or the other going bowling(Virginia vs Virginia Tech) it can be as great as a game between national title contenders.

On the one hand, it was nice to play [redacted] because of the history given we used to play them yearly. But after how close we were to losing I don't want to see them play Iowa State for 100 years.

Yep, it is like the dumb "football is better when so-and-so is good" nah good football is good football a Final Four of BYU, Boise State, Army, and Indiana is just as good as one with Bama/OSU/Clemson/Texas.
