I spend quite a lot of time with stories floating around my head and trying to translate them into images. Sometimes the ‘trying’ is totally subconscious and just happens. Quite a cool and fun part of the creative process for me

Wild weather last January in the Caledonian forest. Gusts of wind whipping up the overnight show unpredictably. I had to navigate back through this from the hills, which wasn’t much fun although the wind did settle a bit.
