Automation sucks. Went to Kohls during lunch hour. Picked up one item, $40. Figured I would try the "Self Checkout". Swiped my Kohls card. Machine said, "Processing, wait for casher." There are none. After 8 minutes gave up and left. No wonder the human checkout line is 15 deep.

Up way early this morning. Prepping for the City Council Meeting tonight and looking at a looooog list of "Things to Do". Also, tomorrow night it is the Urbandale City Council to advocate for a new Sikh Temple in that community.

I gotta say, Bluesky feels like my early days of Twitter, when it was FUN, when I first realized I was part of a great community.
