This is a completely meaningless way to measure "pushing CPUs to their limit". You can make an infinite spin loop that does nothing and has 100% utilization. How many spectra are you processing per ms? What is the throughput in GB/s?

I would defer to the other Michaels, but with dynamic exclusion isn't the "ideal" MS2 elution profile for any given peptide 1 point across the peak? There are cases where you can clearly see elution profiles across MS1, MS2 and MS3 though.
