The study of global scale CO2 removal takes up my mornings. I specifically read about marine-based CDR as I'm an ex Bering sea fisherman and freshwater aquaculturist. Farming the oceanic deserts may end wild catch commercial fishing and drawdown CO2.

BREAKING from @science.org: The Trump admin is seeking to kill nearly all climate research at NOAA, its climate science agency.

Its near-final budget proposal would end all NOAA research labs, academic institutes, and regional climate centers. And it wants to fully end the NOAA Research division.

The world is finally putting money into climate solutions. But are we doing it effectively?

Short answer: not really.

We can do much better if we pay attention to the science first.
