Any newspaper search engine which does not default rank articles by date - let alone does not have this as an option - is proof that the digital team needs to be fired because it completely fails to understand news.
LOL the Washington Post replaced its archive search tool with an AI that tries to summarize the archive ahead of delivering any actual stories, and which only ranks its findings by "relevance," with no option to rank them by date

The thing that’s going to kill British print newspapers and magazines and drag down lots of news outlets is not losing readers due to death/boredom (that’s a nice predictable downward graph) but the collapse of the distribution network. Already happening! Can’t buy a paper at York station right now.

Reform MP James McMurdock was jailed for repeatedly kicking his girlfriend.

He had told the media he was jailed for "pushing" his former partner in 2006.

Court records obtained by The Times say the sentence was given because of "the serious nature of the offence”.

And journalists covering this story need to ask farmers this question!
I’m sure it’s possible that a farm worth £6million in assets makes v little money. And a 20% IHT bill spread over 10years will be a cost that tips this farm from profit to loss.
But it’d be good to see the P&Ls

There are so few #pubs left in London that have dart boards, so I always like to note when I encounter one. This is the Lord Raglan pub near St Paul's, and it actually has two dart boards (and two pool tables). A Greene King pub, though, so beer's not great
