I'm losing count how many times this needs to be said nowadays.

In general, public WiFi is safe to use.

There will always be edge cases that apply to the 1%, but for your mum / dad / grandparents etc, public WiFi is ok to use
what a load of nonsense!

Public wifi is reasonably safe! Airports are even more because they have more CCTV than you can imagine and armed police.

people get pwn3d via phishing and malware/infostealers....

📱 Many people forget that public Wi-Fi networks can be a goldmine for hackers! Always assume your data is at risk when connecting in cafes or airports. Stay safe! #MobileSecurity

UK now has access to a Strangles vaccine. This is great news and hopefully will be getting it soon. Has anyone in the UK already had the Strangles vaccine? What are your thoughts? Any side effects to be aware of?

I've used Google Pixel devices for years now, but my Pixel 8 has given me no end of trouble. It's now away for the 3rd time in 6 months for a warranty screen repair. I'm seriously thinking of switching. Anyone got any good android phone recommendations (UK availability)? Cheers in advance!

Once in a while, it happens to all of us. I seem to have a defective Pixel 8. It's going back for repair for the 2nd time in 2 months. Backup Pixel 6 is still solid as a rock. Does make me rethink why I bothered upgrading to the 8 in the first place...

Want to check something and see if it is just me or not. My phone screen was faulty so it got sent away to be replaced. Put phone in 'repair mode'. Phone came back related, but also fully reflashed with original Android 14 instead of 15 it had. Is it normal to reflash regardless of fault?
