Oklahoma City Mayor David Holt drew one opponent in his upcoming bid for re-election. After his last landslide victory in 2022, in which he fended off three opponents, this time around should be even easier.

If we added 15 more days to the school year, the average district would spend appx $1M; statewide: $440–$620M.
I’d rather invest in what really helps kids: smaller classes, reading specialists, ⬆️ pay for support staff, mental health supports, etc.
I’m for improving our schools…but this ain’t it.

I read some MAGA social media responses about the No Kings protests. The one that stood out was this one: "Just what were they protesting anyway?"
I admit I am as perplexed by that comment as the commentator apparently was about the protest. How does one not know what this was about? (cont'd)
