That’s a nice graphic, but it ignores the fact that we’ve had slavery all along. The 13th Amendment allows it for prisoners. It’s a thriving business to this day.

One of the hard things for me is the realization that they’ve been like this all along. There’s no way to unsee that. Some people just won’t get it until it happens them personally, and that’s really too bad for them, but it also makes them part of the problem, unfortunately.
