The mom is great in my case (so far, but she seems sweet!) but I can definitely see parents being a problem in general. Puts a damper on the situation but they are lucky to have someone passionate and caring like you who can work through it anyway

I planned some painting activities for tomorrow so I’m just waiting for her mom to confirm!!! It’s kind of cold here right now and tomorrow is a holiday so lots of stuff is closed. I hope an activity where she doesn’t feel pressured to talk a lot will help warm us up to each other

I didn’t want to force it but I wanted to let her know I was excited too so I asked if she was nervous and she said yes and I told her I was too, but really I am happy that she seems excited to hang out with me. I had a fear she wouldn’t really like my vibe but I think we will have a lot of fun
