INFJ. Boy Mom. Dogtrovert. Homebody. Bookworm. Geriatric millennial. California girl in a Florida world. In my anti-social but still want to be invited era.
Nothing makes an introvert like me panic faster than locking eyes with a vacation salesperson and realizing there’s no graceful escape.

Maybe it all happened when it was supposed to—but still, I can’t help wishing I’d longed for motherhood sooner. It’s the most beautiful, soul-filling role I’ve ever had.

I cannot stress this strongly enough: Support your local theatre, café, bookstore, bakery, and library. We breathe life into these places when we support them. They need us, and more importantly, we need them.

Tucked away in this beautiful, cozy cabin for the weekend. We also spotted our first bear in the wild along the creek.

Hello, October, old friend. When the mountains beckon, you go. Looking forward to a restful weekend in Gatlinburg.

At the end of the day, don’t we all just want to read books in a cottage during a pouring rain in front of a crackling fire whilst enjoying a plate of emotional support cinnamon rolls?

There’s something intoxicating about the smell of old books.

Always a treasure trove here at my favorite bookstore and the perfect place to spend my day off.

It will always baffle me how easily people will believe that the poor, the sick, the marginalized, and the immigrant are the cause for all their problems, rather than the people in the most powerful positions in their country who refuse to fix problems and exploit them instead.

Weak, broken, insecure men who get power and use it to cosplay.

That's what we have.

I recognize that "hustle culture" is all the rage, but what about "casually perusing a quaint bookstore on a cobblestone street in Edinburgh during a pouring rain" culture?

If you’re going to steal my credit card information, don’t get a room at a cheap motel, asshole. At least pick a luxurious high-end hotel and make it worth your while.

I am begging you to find a book or movie you've never heard of that looks interesting and take a risk. You don't have to only enjoy things other people have approved.

Movies in the ’90s just hit different. We just rewatched Dangerous Minds and 187, and one thing’s clear—you don’t mess with Michelle Pfeiffer or Samuel L. Jackson.

Thinking of a book I read in the ’90s. I can’t recall the title or author. The main character was a girl who always chewed grape bubblegum, drank Cherry Coke, and had a crush on an older guy she would see at the diner. #BookSky, please help!

There are countless pressing issues and so much good you could be doing with the power you’ve been given, yet here you are, outraged over a stopped escalator and insisting resources be wasted on it. We do not have a serious country with this man “leading” it.
