It didn't rain on us (much) for our 6 mile trail run today. We went to the deep woods where she can go off-leash.
We're close to 950 miles together so far this year, I'm hoping we hit 1k.
Late afternoon on the edge of a lake in the PNW. Tall pines tower overhead, and yellowed brush hangs over the water A white husky contemplates a U shaped bend in a forest trail of moss and trees. I'll be honest I have no idea what this fungi (slime?) is. It's bright orange and sort of crinkled and ridged like a human brain and and it's growing in the side of a tree.

I spent ten years working on this YA fantasy comic and it's finally finished! I'm submitting to publishers now but so far no luck. Just keepin at it and trying not to get discouraged! It's tough out there!
