In the wake of violence in Charlottesville in 2017, a Salt Lake City resident named Jonna Ramey wrote an open letter to white nationalists that was titled, “What Is Wrong With You?” Her letter was published in The Salt Lake Tribune and was soon read by millions.

The U.S. isn’t quite like Putin’s Russia or Nazi Germany yet. Or is it?

Mans Zelmerlöw knocked it out of the park when he closed the fourth round of "Melodifestivalen", the national competition selecting the qualifying song for the Eurovision Song Contest.

"Revolution" is now the clear favorite to become 🇸🇪 Sweden's 2025 entry. The lyrics couldn't be more fitting.

My heroes [3/3]: Steve Jobs

Steve’s insistence on human interface really meant something. Thanks to him, the products I chose to use every day suck way less.

While he was critical of people he worked with, he was a deeply spiritual being who cared about improving life. He certainly improved mine.

My heroes [2/3]: Nelson Mandela

A champion of empathy and humanity, despite the extreme abuse he suffered caused by some of the worst people in the world who kept the Apartheid system in place.

In my view, the world still implements Apartheid on a global scale. The world needs way more Mandelas.

My heroes [1/3]: Carl Sagan.

Opened my eyes to the true nature of humans and the universe when I watched Cosmos at 14 years old. The first person who made sense and showed what I was already feeling: borders and religion are but relics of a primitive past.

Still the best series ever. I miss Carl.
