The trickle became a deluge and we began to see a younger and more diverse crowd. People wore and waved American flags, more signs appeared, and a few chants emerged, but were drowned out by the cacophony of approving horn honks. The crowd overflowed so much, it spilled out onto to other streets!

We came to the protest half an hour early and there were already around 25-50 people protesting when we arrived. The crowd was mostly older retirees and some disabled folk. Then more people began trickle in, and we spotted our first inflatable costumes: a shark and a T-Rex.
