There is a beautiful sycamore tree outside my office window. I love gazing at it and also seeing what birds come and perch in it (mainly crows). First pic is beginning September, second beginning October. Will post a pic each month so can see the changes!

Best thing I read in 2024? I think it’s got to be Tony & Susan by Austin Wright. The (excellent) film Nocturnal Animals starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Amy Adams was based on it. A semi-neglected masterpiece full of taut writing and brilliant observation. Recommended!
