Wanderer on ever meandering paths from physics to politics between energy markets and IT addiction, but never without a couple of books to read on the train.
Recently I started with Ian Fleming‘s James Bond - the novels, not the movies, of course.
Completely different plot, story, characters and setting. Old-school, slow paced, brutal, and bloody entertaining. #BookSky

#BookSky

Most of the stories of Asimov's robot-series remind me of a typical whodunnit based on the three axioms. How can the prime suspect of a murder be a robot who is hardwired to not harm (or kill) a human being?
Asimov is basically hacking his own axiomatic system, trying to find its inherent flaws.

How to better start a sunday with my Synology NAS screaming at me b/c of a failed fan. Luckily, after a bit of cleaning, the little fellow started spinning again.

My god son (he's 10) came up to me and asked about "erg" -read it in a cross-words. I used the opportunity to flex on the difference between cgs- and MKSA-units and why cgs is the one and only unit system for #physics nerds. But honestly, who designs those cross-word puzzles? Weird stuff.
