Duke is one of the largest biomedical research enterprises in the country. A cut of this magnitude (15%cap on F&As) would result in thousands of lost jobs at Duke & potentially tens of thousands across NC.

I am a researcher. The majority of my salary in my 25 years of employment has come from the NIH. I’m so disgusted right now that I can’t even type anything of substance.
So research gets a fat fuuuuuuuuck you by the fed gov for funding.
