Neil Young (with The Chrome Hearts) at the Jones Beach Theater. Neil sounding great on both vocals and guitar. Good mix of b-sides, hits, and some more contemporary stuff. The tide was so high they had to close off GA, which by the end of the show was half flooded. Keep on rocking in the free world.

Dead and Company 8/2/25, Golden Gate Park: weird set era continues, Midnight Hour opener leads a high energy first set. Sit in from Sturgill on a guitar heavy Morning Dew. Grahame Lesh sits in on second set St. Stephen. Brokedown Palace ends the set with no encore following.

Sturgill Simpson opening for night two of Dead & Company’s 60th anniversary shows. Some very extended jams, a slightly clunky “if you’re not angry you’re not paying attention” followed by a Bulls on Parade drop and a big Whiter Shade of Pale cover.
