If you find yourself on the side of those who wish to limit what types of families and lives and experiences people can find in books on a library shelf then you are not on the side of libraries and what they stand for at their core.

Check the top of your feed: is it set to “Discover” or “Following”? If you’re on Discover it’s going to show you accounts that it thinks you *may* want to follow, which would explain seeing something from someone you’re *not* following (but not why the algorithm thinks you want to see it)
