Must be interesting to watch the changes after dam removal. I didn’t think I saw a lighthouse on that spit, but wasn’t sure. I spent a week as a lighthouse keeper at New Dungeness once…an experience I would definitely repeat!

Got to admit that my second thought, on hearing the news, was “Oh no, what will 2.0 do to us next, using this attack as a pretext?”

They aren’t wrong about their stance harming fundraising. We used to ring bells for the red kettle campaign every Christmas, but gave it up when we became aware of their abhorrent policies and practices.

Sad, but true. Had pretty much that exact conversation today with my future ex-partner, before I got on a plane. One way ticket. (summary: “No one got hurt on January 6th…it was just old people on a guided tour of the building.” And he was serious). The willful denial of reality is unbelievable.
